I am pretty sure it previously was possible to do a simple search using the vernacular names imported to our taxonomies. The search result would include a link to the relevant species page. Now it doesn’t work. Is it an option we can enable? Being able to search for a species by its vernacular name in English or Italian will be very important for our users.

At the moment every time a cell is edited the user has to wait for the whole slickgrid to reload before editing more data. This makes quick editing impossible, so we need to implement row-level locking and updating of data.

Improvements to the taxonomy editor should include the revisioning of terms. This will allow us to easily implement an "undo" feature in the editor, and will also provide other enhancements.

A list of all type specimens included on the antkey site is being displayed on the overview section of each species page. Issues like this that affect the species pages really take credibility away from Scratchpads and are personally embarrassing when I am presenting the site to colleagues and funders.

When importing an excel spreadsheet update of biblio nodes in the Liliaceae Scratchpads, I received this error. I do not know why this has occurred.

An ajax error (HTTP result code:500) is returned when saving taxonomies in the site.
The maintainer reports:

I have recently set up a site (surreybackgarden.myspecies.info), and at first it worked fine, but now everything I try to do results in some sort of error
e.g.:
"The website encountered an unexpected error. Please try again later"
"An AJAX HTTP error occurred. HTTP Result Code: 500"

etc.

I am sometimes unable to access the site, sometimes unable to import taxonomy information from EOL, unable to edit the existing taxonomy without errors.

It's making the site unusable. I tried to create a New Issue, without success as I don't have a log-in.

Please can you help? I'm on the point of giving up and creating my own site in HTML!!

a number of taxon descriptions in the Scilloideae scratchpad are missing a title. They seem to all have been part of the same import run on the 2013-09-25 22:10.

I need to see the title in order to select and execute an update.
