all the groups fields are locked - how can i delete them?
Hi SP team,
Has there recently been a change to url redirects in SP? I ask because suddenly many of our pages are stuck in redirect loops, so the page doesn't display. Oddly - it displays if you are logged in, but not if you aren't.
I've fixed all the obvious ones by removing any redirects, but is there any way you can run a check through all links on our site to find any I didn't spot, please?
I have no idea what has caused this: previously all the pages worked fine....if you can shed any light, that would also be appreciated, thanks!
Natalie
Would it be possible to allow registered users to download the XML file that would normally be sent to Pensoft when using the 'Publish' option for a Taxonomic Paper (assuming it is an XML file that is sent to Pensoft)?
The Solanacaesource website includes a number of custom SPM fields. These custom fields are not exported in to the DwC-A, which reduces the usefulness of the archive. The custom fields should be exported, and if necessary, aggregated together.
Solanum dulcamara in http://solanaceaesource.org/dwca.zip has 'L., L., L., L., and L., “Sp. Pl. 185. 1753.”, 1753.' as the authority - this is clearly wrong.
Add an option to prevent the filtering out of images from EoL in the media browser tab.
The taxonomic name reference field is omitted from the spm editing view.
Dear Team,
My question could be put in a wiki, if the answer exist.
Is it possible to customize a page to have one block on the left and one other block on the right, the left block could be one of my choice and the right block could be a text block, e.g.?
Or in other words, is it possible to clone the home page and to customize it to use this new model in other place of the site?
Looking forward to your answers,
Yves
Dear team,
On the Taxon description page, when creating a new taxon desciption, I enter the taxonomic in the field Taxonomic name. But each time when I validate (by enter, e.g.) the choice the download window open. So I need to cancel this new window before to continue the edition of the new taxon description.
This seems recent as comportment.
You can also simply put the cursor in the field Taxonomic name and push on enter. The window appear again.
Please could you make something to avoid this?
Thank you very much for your help!
Import the cephbase site from EOL.
Dear team,
I have developped a view sorting the genera by biogeographic regions.
It works well but when rewriting results for fields Distributions and Biology, the tags [bib][/bib] are not striped resulting in poor view.
Please could you allow this?
Moreover I have one question: How should it be possible to make similar view based on the data introduced in the map present under description tab of a taxon description?
Thank you for your help!!
Yves
Dear Team,
On my site, since few days I saw that the biblio reference :
- are not aligned correctly on the overview tab page (the bullet number isput away on the left)
- that they lost their numbers on the descriptions tab page (the number is well present in [] in the text but absent near the corresponding citations) http://doryctinaekey.myspecies.info/taxonomy/term/276/descriptions
Thank you for your help :-)
The EOL tile service is no longer used by EOL (they are now using one provided by GBIF), we should update our service to also use GBIF directly.
I just made a fresh installation of Scracthpads 2, but the images are not presented in a Lightbox. I have checked the configuration of Colorbox and left it as installed. Any suggestions?
Hello,
For some reason, for the past 2 days I am seeing some of the content in my site (http://microgastrinae.myspecies.info/) that appears as italicized. It is happening specially to the bottom of the Home Page, where the "Recent Pages", "Recent Blog entries", and "Recently added taxonomic descriptions" are. It also happened to the Taxonomy pages. The weirdest thing is that I only see that when logging (as an administrator of the site), if I visit the site as a public (i.e., no user account) then I see things normal. But I cannot find a solution to this, even though I have browsed the site trying to find something that fixes the problem...
Thank you very much!

However text is formatted in the descriptions, it appears on the screen in italics. See for example http://fungi.myspecies.info/all-fungi/isaria-friesii and information on recent additions on the home page. Any help will be much appreciated - Paul
Is there any way to bulk edit biblio nodes? For example, if I want to add taxonomic names to the nodes, is there a way to do that other than editing them one by one? Is there any option for exporting existing biblio nodes to csv/xls format? Thanks.
The literature list does not sort according to the normal conventions of a bibliography. I would expect papers by an author to sort in date order for single authored papers first and then papers where that author is the first author of two or more, sorted by the second author's surname and then date order and so on. At the moment, it is sorted by first author's surname and then apparently arbitrarily (by key I think?).
For example, in my present list I get:
Chandler, 1975
Chandler & Stubbs, 1975
Chandler, 1974
Chandler & Stubbs, 1974
Chandler, 1970
Chandler, 1998
Here are some of the issues that came up, while we were working on: http://cyanobacteria.myspecies.info:
1 ) Is it possible to add an extra tab (eg toxicity data) where the information is displayed for each strain, besides the already available tabs: overview, descriptions, media, literature, maps, specimens (http://cyanobacteria.myspecies. info/taxonomy/term/284). If not possible, where we could add this kind of information and how?
2 ) After we upload the template for the taxonomy, we edit the genera and the species to be in italics (using <i>), and as a result in tab descriptions, it appears: <I>ANABAENA</I> AUTH 0899 (http://cyanobacteria.myspecies.info/taxonomy/term/274/descriptions) and also in the navigator (Home »Anabaena AUTH 0899» Cyanobacteria »Nostocales» Nostocaceae <i>Anabaena</i>» Anabaena AUTH 0899). Please see attached picture (red arrows show the "bug"); this appears in all our pages (strains). Is there a way to fix it?
3) Is it possible to make a total map with all the cyanobacterial strains (specimens) and the locations that they were isolated from?
4) Is it possible to set the zoom in-zoom out on a map, since creating a location is already set to zoom in.
